Safeguarding children’s rights, dignity, and wellbeing in vulnerable communities.
SAHARI works to ensure that every child grows up safe, supported, and protected from harm. In crisis-affected and underserved areas of Sudan, children face heightened risks including violence, neglect, exploitation, and limited access to essential services. Our Child Protection program strengthens family and community systems, provides safe spaces, and promotes the rights and wellbeing of children so they can thrive.
Safe Spaces and Psychosocial Support
We provide child-friendly spaces where children can seek refuge, play safely, and receive immediate psychosocial support to cope with stress, fear, and conflict-related trauma.
Community-Based Child Protection
Working with parents, teachers, and community leaders, we raise awareness of conflict-related risks (violence, forced recruitment, exploitation) and strengthen local protection networks to monitor and respond to threats.
Case Management and Referrals
We identify vulnerable or separated children, provide ongoing protection follow-up, connect them with specialized services, and support family reunification whenever possible.
Give A Helping Hand For Needy People
Give A Helping Hand For Needy People is a call to compassion and action. Our organization is devoted to reaching out to those facing hardship; offering food, shelter, medical care, and emotional support to individuals and families in need.
